Lightning Poll Results

I had to close the lightning poll a little early because there's new Allstate news that is just too important to not share with everyone.

So, the lightning poll question was: "How far away is lightning when you've counted 10 seconds between seeing the lightning flash and hearing the thunder?"

The answer choices were: 2 miles, 5 miles, and 10 miles.

66.7% of voters chose 2 miles, while 33.3% chose 10 miles.  The answer is 2 miles.

Here's a lightning trick for you to remember.  For every 5 seconds that you count between a lightning flash and the thunder, lightning is 1 mile away.  (5:1)
